Automotive Accessory Technician
Become a vital part of our client's workforce, specializing in the installation of accessories on various vehicles. Ensure that all installations and repairs are completed within the designated timeframe while adhering to the high standards set by our client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installing accessories, such as truck canopies, onto vehicles
- Performing basic electrical tasks related to automotive systems
- Conducting test installations and reporting any issues to the sales and reception teams; executing additional repair tasks as directed
- Installing components and maintaining thorough, organized records of all work performed on each vehicle
- Keeping the workspace tidy, organized, and compliant with company standards to uphold a professional image and ensure the safety of all team members
- Liaising with the sales office regarding the status of order completions
- Technical apprenticeship is preferred but not mandatory as comprehensive training will be provided
- Fundamental understanding of automotive mechanics and suspension systems
- Basic familiarity with vehicle electrical systems
- Experience in fitting vehicle accessories
- Strong attention to detail
- Effective communication abilities
- Positive demeanor and self-driven
- Innovative problem-solving skills
- Valid UK Driving Licence is essential
