Key Responsibilities of the Role

  • Clinical Expertise - Adhering to essential competencies including infection prevention and duty of care.
  • Upholding the confidentiality of patient and practice information.
  • Health Assessment and Promotion - Performing health evaluations and providing health education.
  • Sanitation - Assisting in maintaining infection control standards through regular cleaning practices.
  • Effective communication with patients and their families.

Job Duties

Conducting health assessments for new patients, performing ECGs, blood sampling, administering B12 injections, providing flu vaccinations, dressing wounds, monitoring cardiovascular health, supporting smoking cessation efforts, and more.

Candidate Profile

Experience

  • At least 2 years in a healthcare environment
  • Preferably experience in Primary Care settings
  • Background as a Healthcare Assistant

  • Interpersonal skills
