Job Title: Learning and Development Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Business Partner to join our team at Blakemore Retail. As a key member of our Learning and Development team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and success through the development of our employees.

Job Purpose:

The primary purpose of this role is to partner with managers and business leaders to design and deliver learning and development initiatives that meet the needs of our business. You will work closely with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted solutions to address these gaps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive learning and development strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
  • Design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of our employees and drive business results.
  • Collaborate with managers and business leaders to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted solutions.
  • Conduct training needs analyses to identify gaps in our learning and development offering.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of our learning and development initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in learning and development, preferably in a retail or FMCG environment.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand the needs of our business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
