Job Title: Technical Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Instructor to join our team at NRS Healthcare. As a Technical Instructor, you will play a vital role in delivering an outstanding clinical service to wheelchair users across York and North Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with wheelchair therapists to deliver wheelchair solutions and clinical interventions that meet the individual needs of service users.
  • Repair and modify wheelchairs, as well as provide education to patients and carers to encourage patient participation in the management of their condition.
  • Maintain accurate client records and provide typed reports of assessments and handovers, ensuring all reports are of an acceptable standard.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure the delivery of an effective patient-led service to wheelchair users throughout the region.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Technical Instructor or in a relevant clinical area is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work to varying deadlines.
  • A flexible and caring approach, with a strong commitment to delivering an excellent service.
  • Ability to work closely within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve shared goals.
