Site Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our team at PSR Solutions. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of our civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all work meets the required standards and is completed to the highest quality.
  • ITP's (Inspection and Test Plans): Develop and implement ITP's to ensure that all work is properly inspected and tested.
  • Setting Out: Conduct site surveys and set out the work area to ensure accurate placement of materials and equipment.
  • Supervision of Trades/Delivery Teams: Supervise and coordinate the work of tradespeople and delivery teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Planning Work Packs and Method Statements/Risk Assessments: Develop and implement work packs and method statements to ensure that all work is properly planned and executed.
  • Driving Programme at a Site Level: Monitor and control the project programme to ensure that all work is completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Quantifying Material and Ordering through the Procurement System: Ensure that all materials are properly quantified and ordered through the procurement system.
  • Keeping Accurate QA Records or Site Progress: Maintain accurate records of site progress and quality assurance activities.

Requirements:

  • Experience on Water Waste Treatment Works advantageous
  • CSCS Card
  • HNC/HND or Equivalent
  • On-site experience as an Engineer including setting out and QA responsibilities
  • Prior use of Microsoft Office Packages
  • Use of AutoCAD
