About the Role

We are seeking an experienced paralegal to join our dynamic UK legal department at City Electrical Factors, a leading electrical wholesaler and distributor with over 70 years of success. As a paralegal, you will play a key role in supporting our award-winning US legal team and contributing to the growth and innovation of our global organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements and service contracts.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with UK laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Provide valuable support and legal advice on contract-related matters, including interpretation, enforcement, and risk management.
  • Assist with in-house employment matters, from drafting contracts to managing employee records and ensuring compliance with UK employment laws.
  • Handle commercial property documents, such as licenses, wayleaves, and CPSEs, and support our property portfolio.
  • Stay ahead of legal developments in employment, commercial property, and contracts, and provide training on best practices and compliance.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and experience in employment, commercial property, or commercial contract law, with a knack for handling complex matters.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.
