Ivry Street Medical Practice is in search of a committed and proficient salaried General Practitioner to enhance our supportive team. We offer flexibility in the number of sessions, with a preference for a minimum of 4 sessions per week.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality medical care to our registered patients.
- Provide services aligned with our core contractual obligations.
- Engage in generic prescribing in accordance with local and national guidelines.
- Effectively manage chronic conditions.
- Handle administrative tasks promptly, including referrals and repeat prescription requests.
- Participate in the duty doctor role on a rotational basis.
- Maintain precise clinical records in line with established practices and policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues, sharing the practice workload equitably.
- Follow best practices as recommended through clinical guidelines and audits.
We are looking for an independent practitioner who will oversee the delivery of medical services to our patient population, ensuring a high standard of clinical care while adhering to our core contract.
The ideal candidate will comply with GMC standards for good medical practice, contribute to the effective management of the practice, and foster a positive and collaborative working environment with our team.
About UsOur practice consists of 4 partners and serves nearly 13,000 patients. We operate from a facility that was previously part of the local hospital's radiology department, making it well-suited for a busy town center practice. In addition to our partners, we have 4 salaried GPs, an advanced nurse practitioner, a paramedic, 5 practice nurses, and 2 healthcare assistants. We also benefit from regular mental health team support, a pharmacy team, and a weekly physiotherapy service focused on back and neck care for our patients. All clinicians are encouraged to participate in our weekly business and educational meetings.
We offer an annual leave entitlement of 30 days (pro-rata) in addition to public holidays, which are calculated based on the number of sessions or hours worked.
