**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at one of our SEN schools in Cambridge. As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a brand-new provision opening in September 2024.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored support to students with SEN, both in the classroom and one-on-one.
- Assist in the development and implementation of Education Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to monitor and report on student progress.
- Have a good understanding and upload key safeguarding policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- A positive attitude and a passion for education.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Previous experience in SEN is desirable but not mandatory.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing situations.
- Full UK driving licence and access to vehicle preferred.
