Full Stack Engineer - Insurtech Start-up

Fully Remote or London (Hybrid) | Remuneration: £60k to £90k + Benefits

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our fast-growing Insurtech company, transforming the insurance industry with AI-driven data solutions and cutting-edge digital technology.

The Role:

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain a scalable platform that leverages AI and data ingestion to deliver disruptive solutions to the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain middleware services to integrate the frontend with backend API's using React, Python, and / or Node.js.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative product features.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications across multiple platforms.
  • Design and optimize RESTful APIs, backend services, and middleware.
  • Contribute to DevOps processes, implementing CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and delivery.
  • Work on data-driven features, leveraging AI and automation to continuously improve the system.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing feedback to ensure high standards and best practices.
What We're Looking For:

We are looking for a skilled Full Stack Engineer with:

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer in a start-up or agile environment.
  • Solid React, and backend technologies such as Python and / or Node.js, along with CI/CD tools.
  • Knowledge of data platforms and AI-driven solutions is highly desirable.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
