About the Role:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Residential Child Care Workers at Willows Devon Ltd. As a Residential Child Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and supportive environment for teenagers who have experienced severe personal trauma.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care and support to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals involved in their care.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of individualized care plans, ensuring the unique needs of each young person are met.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in residential child care.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and healthy living environment, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualifications and experience in residential child care or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people and colleagues.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
