Industrial Door Engineer/Technician

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Door Engineer/Technician to join our field-based team in Scotland. This role would suit candidates living in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

About the Role

The purpose of this role is to install, service, and maintain industrial doors and docking equipment within Scotland. This role reports into the Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, service, and maintain industrial doors and docking equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working order.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical and hydraulic issues.
  • Work at height and in confined spaces.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals.
Requirements
  • Apprentice-trained or time-served fitter's mate or equivalent.
  • Basic electrical knowledge - essential.
  • Knowledge and/or experience of hydraulics - preferred but not essential.
  • Experienced within the industrial door or related industry.
  • Ability to work at height.
  • IT literate.
  • UK driver's licence - essential.
