The Lead Structural Engineer will possess extensive experience in Structural Engineering, particularly in identifying and diagnosing defects through a variety of Structural Assessments.

Lead Structural Engineer Position Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales teams to coordinate survey execution
  • Conduct inspections on various building types and structures

  • Draft specifications for necessary remedial actions
  • Provide technical assistance for insurance claims related to buildings
  • Address issues related to subsidence, fire, and storm damage
  • Report progress to management and provide updates

Lead Structural Engineer Position Qualifications

  • Minimum of a 1st class degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
  • Several years of experience in structural assessments and design
  • Proficient in IT systems and software such as AutoCAD and TEDDS
  • Strong knowledge of building structures and materials including steel, masonry, concrete, and timber
  • Membership in MICE or MIStructE is preferred
  • Enthusiastic about adopting new technologies and fostering continuous improvement
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for site visits
