Lead Structural Engineer Position Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales teams to coordinate survey execution
- Conduct inspections on various building types and structures
- Generate digital reports in real-time during site visits
- Draft specifications for necessary remedial actions
- Provide technical assistance for insurance claims related to buildings
- Address issues related to subsidence, fire, and storm damage
- Report progress to management and provide updates
- Innovate and propose new ideas
- Utilize cutting-edge software tools
Lead Structural Engineer Position Qualifications
- Minimum of a 1st class degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering
- Several years of experience in structural assessments and design
- Proficient in IT systems and software such as AutoCAD and TEDDS
- Strong knowledge of building structures and materials including steel, masonry, concrete, and timber
- Membership in MICE or MIStructE is preferred
- Enthusiastic about adopting new technologies and fostering continuous improvement
- Possession of a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for site visits
