About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as an Apprentice Team Leader. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for supporting the management team in the day-to-day business activities and driving sales, alongside the development and delivery of excellent customer service and store standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management team in achieving sales targets and improving customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement effective store standards and customer service initiatives
  • Lead and motivate a team of retail staff to achieve business objectives
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of business strategies and plans
  • Monitor and control store operations, including stock management and inventory control
Requirements
  • Experience in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Basic understanding of retail Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including sales, profit, and service
  • Confidence, resilience, and ambition with the ability to help others develop and improve their skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Willingness to attend off-site workshops and training sessions

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have a basic understanding of retail KPIs and experience in a fast-paced retail environment. A Level 3 Retail Team Leader Apprenticeship qualification is desirable.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £12.40 per hour, with 39 hours per week. Benefits include competitive pay, up to 28 days holiday, and up to 30% discount for you and a nominated friend or family member.
