Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Operations Manager to join our team. As a Sales and Operations Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing store operations, and leading a team of sales associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Sales Growth
    • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Provide exceptional customer service to drive sales and build customer loyalty.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Manage Store Operations
    • Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, visual merchandising, and store cleanliness.
    • Ensure that all store policies and procedures are followed.
    • Manage store inventory, including receiving, transferring, and completing price changes.
  • Lead Sales Associates
    • Recruit, train, and develop sales associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide exceptional customer service.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to sales associates to improve sales performance.
    • Manage sales associate schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Control Expenses
    • Manage store expenses, including labor costs, inventory costs, and other operational expenses.
    • Identify areas for cost reduction and implement cost-saving initiatives.
  • Supervise Associates
    • Act as Store Manager on duty for any employee scheduling issues, customer complaints, etc.
    • Manage store associates through thorough use of LIDS Training Programs, goal setting, and regular follow up.
    • Administer the progressive steps of discipline to include verbal and written warning.
    Requirements
    • Education and/or Experience
      • Secondary School certificate or equivalent plus one-year relative experience.
    • Knowledge and Skills
      • Established ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
      • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate verbally in a clear professional manner.
      • Ability to operate a computer, as well as maneuver relative software programs.
      • Ability to lift up to 25 kg.
      • Ability to climb a ladder and work with hands overhead.
      • Standing required for up to 100% of the work time.
      • Ability to initiate completion of tasks or activities without necessary supervision.
      • Flexible availability – including nights, weekends and holidays.
      • Ability to prove eligibility to work in the U.K.
      Preferred Requirements
      • Education
        • Possession of a degree in a relevant field such as business or retail management.
      • Reports To
        • Reports to the Store Manager.
