Job Title: Locum Anaesthetic Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Locum Anaesthetic Consultant to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our anaesthetic department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in anaesthesia, with experience in managing high-risk patients undergoing complex surgery. You will be expected to participate in the departments on-call rota and contribute to the teaching, education, and training of both undergraduates and postgraduates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in the perioperative setting
  • Manage high-risk patients undergoing complex surgery
  • Participate in the departments on-call rota
  • Contribute to the teaching, education, and training of both undergraduates and postgraduates
Requirements
  • MB ChB or equivalent
  • FRCA, MRCP or equivalent
  • Full registration with GMC
  • CCT in Anaesthesia or expected to attain within 6 months of interview date
