About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Infrastructure Specialist to join our specialist security team at BT Security. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the work stacks of multiple colleagues, making priority decisions in line with all relevant security, financial and HR considerations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Direction: Provide technical direction for the build, delivery and maintenance of world-class secure platforms.
  • Hands-on Approach: Be hands-on in all aspects of the design, build, deployment and support of customer-facing systems.
  • Integration and Support: Work within existing monitoring, observability and security frameworks to achieve our customer's requirements.
  • System Integration: Have experience integrating systems, networks or software in on-premises environments.
  • Support and Development: Be experienced in providing 3rd or 4th line support to production datacentre environments.
  • Culture and Development: Contribute to a high-performance culture, empowering others through coaching and development using modern software development methodologies.
  • Project Coordination: Deliver, coordinate and prioritise activities, responding positively to challenges, using your technical expertise to support you and those around you.
  • VMware Expertise: Have experience with VMware technologies such as Cloud Foundation, vSAN or NSX-T.
  • Monitoring and Observability: Work with monitoring and observability solutions such as CheckMK, Telegraf or Prometheus.
