Job Summary:

As a Class 1 Driver with DX Group, you will be responsible for transporting goods to and from customers' premises and our central hubs, utilizing our DX 2 Man delivery network. This role requires the ability to work efficiently and manage on-road routes to achieve time-sensitive deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proven track record of driving vehicles in a safe and legal manner, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
  • Understand and comply with driver's hours and Working Time Directive (WTD) legislation.
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and report defects correctly.
  • Adhere to on-site health and safety protocols.
  • Utilize knowledge and experience to divert cross-country to and from the hub as necessary, based on signs, traffic, or other conditions.

Essential Criteria:

  • Hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence.
  • No more than 6 points on your driving licence and no DD/DR Code convictions.
  • Hold a current, valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC) Card.
