Senior Tax Consultant

A growing independent accounting firm is seeking to appoint a Senior Tax Consultant to join their team as a result of ongoing expansion.
The Senior Tax Consultant will work closely with the firm's Partners, enjoying significant autonomy in their daily responsibilities. Candidates should possess a comprehensive knowledge of both Personal and Corporation Tax, with a preference for those who hold CTA or ATT qualifications.
This role involves managing a diverse portfolio of established clients and collaborating effectively with fellow members of the tax department. The position encompasses a balanced focus on both corporation and personal tax matters. It is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager or a Tax Senior looking to advance their career.

Key Responsibilities- Providing supervisory tax advisory and compliance services to clients.
- Ensuring the timely submission of all necessary forms and documentation.
- Taking responsibility for the accuracy of work performed within the tax team.
- Handling ad hoc assignments related to tax planning strategies.
- Managing a client portfolio, addressing all aspects of their tax affairs.
- Interacting with HMRC forms and reporting obligations, such as forms PIID and CT61.
- Reviewing corporation tax and trade computations.
- Offering ad hoc tax planning guidance.
- Assisting in the training and development of junior staff members.
- Performing various other duties relevant to the role, including monitoring deadlines for task completion.
Working hours are Monday to Friday, totaling 37.5 hours per week, with the flexibility of working from home two days each week.
