About the Role- Deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with clinical best practices and organisational standards.
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Administering medications and treatments in accordance with prescribed protocols and medical guidelines.
- Lead and mentor junior nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with the NMC Code of Conduct and hospital policies to maintain a safe and effective work environment.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the ward by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
- Registered General Nurse (Level 1) with a valid NMC pin and a strong clinical knowledge base.
- Diploma or BSc in Nursing Studies and a mentorship qualification (ENB 998 or equivalent).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Proven ability to manage workloads and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and achieve goals.
- Proficiency in IT systems to access and manage patient information and other relevant data.
