About the Opportunity:


As a vital member of the corporate client team, you will be instrumental in managing compliance matters and providing tailored advice for a substantial portfolio of corporate clients. This role also encompasses personal tax considerations, including cash extraction strategies and capital gains tax.

For those interested in a blended role, there is an opportunity to manage a Personal Tax portfolio.

You will collaborate closely with partners, existing tax teams, and the audit and accountancy corporate client team, ensuring comprehensive support for our clients.

Your responsibilities will include assisting a diverse range of companies and their directors in meeting corporate tax compliance deadlines, overseeing our compliance services, and offering expert guidance on various tax advisory matters.

Additionally, you will engage in research on a wide array of corporate tax issues, primarily for entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses (OMB).

Working alongside the accounts team, you will provide essential support in preparing tax computations as part of the overall accounts preparation process.

This role will also involve conducting detailed reviews of corporate tax computations for larger and more complex clients, as well as submitting claims for tax relief on specialized matters such as R&D and capital allowances.

About the Applicant:

As the ideal candidate, you will:
  • Possess experience in practice, addressing a broad spectrum of corporate tax issues
  • Be ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified
  • Hold tax qualifications (CTA or ATT) as a plus; study support will be available for the right candidate
  • Exhibit excellent client service standards and effective work management skills
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Have a good working knowledge of Alphatax
