About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Independent Living Skills Tutor. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in empowering adults with disabilities to live more independently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver a curriculum of activities to support students' learning goals and social development, both in and out of our community.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities and student progress, informing our framework and driving continuous improvement.
  • Source and develop resources tailored to the needs of adults with additional learning and communication needs.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in providing training and support to adults with disabilities, helping them achieve meaningful outcomes.
  • Ability to develop learning plans and create engaging tutorials and materials suitable for diverse student groups.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a passion for motivating and empathizing with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong understanding of how to leverage digital technology to enhance independence in daily life.
