Job Title: Sea Freight Exports Operations Clerk

Freight Personnel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sea Freight Exports Operations Clerk to join our team in the St Helens office.

About the Role:

We are a well-established Logistics and supply chain company specialising in air and ocean freight forwarding, warehousing & fulfilment, parcel management and road transport solutions. Our client provides bespoke freight forwarding solutions globally for their customers with over 30 offices strategically located in twelve countries, providing seamless Transportation service across key locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise with clients and shipping lines to ensure smooth export operations
  • Process export bookings (Sea) and handle daily export operations, late runners, cancellations, and queries
  • Manage shipment from quotation through to completion, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve operational excellence and meet customer expectations
Requirements:
  • Sea Freight export experience and strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Destin8 / CNS and other relevant software
