Job Title: Childcare Apprenticeship – Level 3
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Childcare Apprentice at Carmela Coady Childcare. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills in childcare, working alongside our qualified and dedicated professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the daily running of the setting, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for the children.
- Assist in planning and setting up activities for the children, promoting their engagement and participation.
- Observe and assist the children during activities, both in the setting and on outings.
- Gain as much practical experience as possible throughout the apprenticeship, developing your skills and knowledge in childcare.
- Ensure the setting is maintained in a clean and tidy condition at all times.
- Assist with checks and monitoring around the setting.
- Keep up to date with all coursework and assignments.
- Assist the children with personal care and hygiene tasks.
Working Hours:
- Carmela Coady Childcare is open from 7:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.
- The successful candidate will be required to work up to 40 hours per week, with shift patterns to be discussed.
Requirements:
- GCSE Grades A*-C/4-9 in English Language and maths, or equivalent.
- Level 2 Childcare Qualification is desired.
