Position Overview

An exciting entry-level position is available within the Radiology division for an Administrative Support Officer to become a vital part of our team. This role involves providing essential administrative assistance across all facilities within the organization, along with managing reception duties at our front desk.

As the initial point of contact for the department, you will welcome, assist, and guide service users, ensuring accurate registration of their visits in the Radiology Information System, while also handling incoming and outgoing calls. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and updating pertinent databases, as well as facilitating the transfer of clinical images.

Key Responsibilities

Your primary duties will include working at the radiology reception desks and performing various reception tasks such as:

  • Delivering administrative and reception support to the Radiology Division across all hospital locations.
  • Providing reception coverage at the designated hospital's radiology reception desk during weekends.
  • Registering patients in the Radiology Information System upon their arrival or when appropriate for the imaging procedure.
  • Assisting clinical staff by monitoring patient wait times and ensuring that patients are kept informed of any delays.
  • Maintaining and updating relevant information systems with a high degree of accuracy to ensure the provision of correct information.
