Job Opportunity: Technical Instructor

This is a unique chance to transition into a new industry and join a renowned defence company working on critical programmes for the UK's national security.

The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching, lecturing, or training people, with a strong foundation in technical subjects such as electronics, mechanics, or physics. We will provide training in the specific technical areas required to instruct on the workings and maintenance of the Royal Navy's Trident Strategic Weapon System (SWS).

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Deliver technical training in support of the statement of training requirement as a fully integrated member of our instructor team.
  2. Mentor trainees with enthusiasm to ensure the highest standard of training output is achieved.
  3. Support both practical and theory training elements to the Royal Navy and industry partners in the Trident Training Facility.
  4. Conduct reviews of training documentation in support of the Training Delivery Associate Manager.
  5. Work flexible shifts to support the Royal Navy's Training and Trident Engineering Support Trainer Programmes.
Requirements:
  1. Experience as an Instructor or Technical Trainer with a background in Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Electronics, or Physics.
  2. Flexibility and an adaptable attitude to working shifts.
