Job Summary:
We're seeking a Governance Manager to join our team, responsible for the successful operation of the VUK Secure Operating Model Governance structure. This will entail ensuring the adherence to and maintenance of all governance procedures and processes for SOM such that VUK has a demonstrable capability for Secure Operating which can be evidenced to those who may ask to see it [HMG auditors; Customers].
Key Responsibilities:
- The Governance Manager will be the custodian and champion across Vodafone UK, responsible for the creation and management of secure operating procedures.
- The Governance Manager will be responsible for assessing and presenting to GMT/board level to seek approval/guidance on business situations which can have a high level of risk associated with our business thus impacting our customers.
- The Governance Manager will also support the development of secure operating strategy for VUK in line with organisational goals through continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Experience with working in a secure operating environment
- Extensive experience of governance through direct programme/project delivery experience and risk management
- Excellent communication skills at all levels demonstrated by the ability to build excellent working relationships and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience and excellent track record for managing change and driving delivery of improvement initiatives.
Security Clearance: This position requires the person to hold or to be eligible to undergo UK Security Clearance (SC) clearance
