About the Role

Bloomberg Media is seeking an experienced Digital Content Editor and Producer to join our team. As a key member of our digital publishing team, you will be responsible for creating engaging content for our online platforms, working closely with reporters and editors to package and promote content across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Content Development: Collaborate with reporters and editors to develop and edit content for our online platforms, ensuring that it is engaging, informative, and meets the needs of our business users.
  • Content Promotion: Work closely with our social media and marketing teams to promote our content across multiple channels, including social media, email newsletters, and mobile alerts.
  • Analytics and Feedback: Monitor and analyze the performance of our content across multiple channels, providing feedback and insights to the team to help improve our content strategy.
  • Breaking News Support: Provide backup support for breaking news coverage, working closely with our newsroom team to ensure that our online platforms are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Visual Design: Use multiple web publishing tools to create visually striking digital content, working closely with our design team to ensure that our content is engaging and effective.
  • Newsletter Publishing: Publish our flagship newsletter and curate our weekend package globally, working closely with our editorial team to ensure that our content is accurate and engaging.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and deadlines to ensure that our content is delivered on time and to a high standard.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in digital content editing and production, with a strong background in web publishing and social media.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of business and financial news, as well as a wide-ranging interest in topics from culture and finance to politics and society.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and web publishing technologies, with experience in troubleshooting problems in modern content management systems.
  • Visual Design Skills: Strong visual design skills, with experience in layout, typography, and user experience.
  • Analytics and Feedback: Strong understanding of analytics and feedback, with experience in monitoring and analyzing the performance of content across multiple channels.
