Job Title: Academic Quality Coordinator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Academic Quality Coordinator to join our team at Harrison Scott Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the execution and deployment of the defined Strategic Quality Plan, providing Total Quality Leadership to customers, suppliers, partners, and internal manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the Quality department for the site, ensuring the leadership of the Quality team and the execution of the defined Strategic Quality Plan.
  2. Accountable for the definition of strategy for Quality Unit size, organisational structure, and culture to meet the future requirements of the business.
  3. Lead the auditing of internal Quality Systems and complete part approval documentation to assure that customer requirements are met in new or modified products and processes.
  4. Analyse organisational quality metrics and perform managerial reviews to evaluate results and recommend action plans to close gaps at an operational level.
  5. Train and coach Quality operators and team to ensure a high level of competency in the function is adhered to.
  6. Ensure the development, implementation, and audit of complex inspection and test plans, standards, and acceptance criteria, and procedures/work instructions.
  7. Coordinate with plant leadership to prepare consolidated plant, customer, and product status information and action plans.
  8. Implement the GMP standard on production site and ensure the preparation and outcome of all GMP-based regulatory and customer audits.
  9. Liaise with customer's technical, production, and quality departments.
  10. Uphold all health and safety rules and procedures that are in place and maintain a safe working environment for the function.

Requirements:

  1. Experience of managing a Quality department or a senior QA position is desirable.
  2. Trustworthiness, ability, and initiative to work independently but also as part of a team.
  3. Willingness to travel if required.
  4. Strong experience within GMP environment.
  5. A wide range of experience in dealing with quality assurance, system development, regulatory compliance, validation, and manufacturing groups.
  6. Experience of relevant continuous improvement techniques, such as LEAN, Kaizen, and Black Belt.
