Randstad is seeking a skilled Section Engineer to collaborate with a well-established Civil Engineering Contractor on a significant Severn Trent Water project in Leicester.

As a Section Engineer, you will be pivotal in ensuring the successful execution of a vital infrastructure initiative. Your responsibilities will include managing and coordinating all engineering tasks, while upholding the highest standards of quality and safety. Your expertise will be crucial in propelling the project forward, adhering to deadlines, and achieving key project objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Oversight: Supervise engineering tasks, ensuring compliance with project specifications and schedules.
  • Quality Management: Establish and uphold quality assurance protocols, ensuring all work aligns with industry benchmarks.
  • Team Collaboration: Work alongside project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project delivery.
  • Technical Problem Solving: Detect and address technical challenges, offering innovative solutions as needed.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to health and safety regulations and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Section Engineer on large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of water industry standards and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
