Job Title: 7.5 Tonne Driver

We are recruiting for 7.5t Delivery Drivers in Portsmouth, with immediate starts available for successful applicants.

The successful candidate will be working as part of a 2-person team, delivering items such as furniture and white goods to customers' homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Full responsibility and care for your vehicle
  • Checking of all relevant paperwork
  • Transporting items safely and free from damage
  • Delivering to customers' rooms of choice
  • Assembling and/or installing customer products
  • Keeping customers up to date on delivery progress and resolving any customer questions or concerns
  • Informing the depot of any delays
  • Representing the company to the highest standard
Requirements:
  • Hold a valid driving licence for a 7.5 Tonne Vehicle (C1 Category)
  • A Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • A valid digital Tachograph Card
  • Ability to prioritise Health and Safety for yourself and your colleagues
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach
