Role Summary
The primary objective of the Business Intelligence Analyst is to design and sustain data analytics frameworks that report on operational effectiveness and integrate insights to refine and enhance our service delivery.
This position is crucial in fostering transparency and teamwork within the organization.
With a solid background in ensuring data accuracy and expertise in data visualization techniques, you will derive greater value from data, generate insights, and convert these into meaningful narratives that facilitate ongoing enhancements across the services provided by ISS.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for data and reporting within the account
- Oversee the generation of periodic reports on Key Performance Indicators, participating in governance meetings to present performance metrics
- Define and manage the production and dissemination of Management Information
- Deliver high-quality analyses (both regular and ad-hoc) for stakeholders and clients
- Assist in project implementations across the account, evaluating the impact of changes on data systems and existing reporting frameworks
- Lead data-centric projects within the account
- Collaborate closely with the ISS Business Insights team to manage the creation and distribution of all contract performance reports in accordance with contractual timelines
- Guide site personnel in maintaining data accuracy and directing reporting from operational channels
Candidate Profile
- Experience in a reporting or analytical capacity
- Enthusiasm for conveying data and visual storytelling
- Proficient in reporting tools, with experience in both Tableau and PowerBI
- Advanced user of Office 365, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
- Ability to consistently deliver high-quality work within deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Capable of engaging confidently at all levels and promoting collaboration
- Problem-solving skills with the ability to make informed decisions with necessary support
- Degree or equivalent qualification
- Customer-focused professional demeanor
- Experience in minute-taking, action tracking, project reporting, and data analysis
- Self-motivated and proactive in achieving task completion
- A collaborative team player with a positive attitude
