Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAP Senior Day Shift Engineer to join our team at CBW Staffing Solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and carrying out mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance on critical plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of engineers in carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on critical plant equipment.
  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including job sheets and method statements.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with other business functions.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in HVAP maintenance.

Requirements:

  • High Voltage - Experience / Qualification - Current or expired
  • Electrically qualified Level 3 / HNC / HND
  • Ability to lead a team of engineers
  • A proven track record in commercial building maintenance
  • An understanding of critical plant: Chillers, HVAC, UPS systems, Cooling Towers etc
  • Excellent customer skills
  • Must be able to get to site for 07:00am start (On day shift)

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Any further qualifications (i.e. Electrical or Air Conditioning etc)
  • Experience working in a bank / data centre / commercial Office
  • Previous experience a day and night shift pattern
