Functional Assessor Job Description

Reactive Recruitment is seeking a compassionate and skilled healthcare professional to join their team as a Functional Assessor. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in helping claimants navigate the claim process by conducting engaging consultations and producing comprehensive health and well-being reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and produce detailed reports to support claimants in their Personal Independence Payments (PIP) claims
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records to ensure high-quality report writing
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure seamless claimant support
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 months post-qualification experience in Nursing (RMN, RGN, RLDN), Occupational Therapy, Paramedicine, or Physiotherapy
  • Active registration with the NMC or HCPC with no practice restrictions
  • Comprehensive training provided for Assessment Specialist role
