Main Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Design and specify projects using standard documents, ensuring that all projects are completed within approved budgets and health and safety guidelines.
- Site Supervision: Supervise work on site and verify invoices for payment, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Provide routine advice and support to local authorities, stakeholders, and other key partners.
- Defect Management: Diagnose building defects and propose solutions, ensuring that all defects are rectified in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of facilities management professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure that all projects are delivered to the highest standards.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Minimum of an HNC/HND in Building Studies or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Experience in building maintenance project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Skills: Knowledge of building and planning regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them in a practical context.
- Personal Qualities: Current full driving license, with the ability to travel to various sites as required.
