Job Description

As a key member of the Great Bear team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our logistics operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the site Health & Safety culture, training MHE staff to use the Fleet Management System, and supporting site inductions and risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety Leadership: Effectively lead the site Health & Safety culture, ensuring that safety is the top priority.
  • Fleet Management System Training: Train all MHE staff to use the Fleet Management System, ensuring that they are proficient in its use.
  • Site Inductions and Risk Assessments: Support site inductions and risk assessments, ensuring that all staff are aware of potential hazards and risks.
  • Training and Development: Provide high-quality training and development opportunities to MHE staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles safely and efficiently.
  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure that all site operations are compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A high level of attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of Health and Safety principles and practices.
  • Skills: Excellent training and development skills, with the ability to design and deliver training programs that meet the needs of MHE staff.
