Role Summary:

Finatal is collaborating with an innovative, private equity-supported software-as-a-service (SaaS) organization that is undergoing significant growth and transformation. They are in search of a proficient Financial Planning Analyst to assist in a thorough reconstruction of their financial models, which includes the creation of a revenue data cube, employee data cube, and a management accounts cube.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Financial Model Reconstruction: Spearhead the redesign and rebuilding of the organization's financial models to improve precision and operational efficiency.
  • Data Cube Creation: Design and execute a revenue data cube, employee data cube, and management accounts cube to enhance financial reporting and analytical capabilities.
  • Recurring Revenue Expertise: Utilize your financial modeling skills within a recurring revenue framework to refine revenue tracking and forecasting processes.
  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Deliver comprehensive financial analyses and insightful reports to facilitate strategic decision-making.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with various departments, including finance, operations, and management, to ensure cohesive integration of financial models.

Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in financial modeling within a recurring revenue context, preferably in a SaaS setting.
  • Skills: High-level proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and relevant software tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling applications).
  • Detail Orientation: Exceptional analytical abilities with a strong focus on detail and accuracy.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication capabilities, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-financial audiences.
  • Availability: Must be able to attend the office in London three times a week.
  • Qualifications: While formal qualifications are not mandatory, relevant experience and demonstrable skills are crucial.
