Job Summary

FactSet Research Systems is seeking a seasoned engineering leader to drive the strategy and development of our Native Application technology stack. As a key member of our Research & Advisory Engineering department, you will be responsible for leading a small team of engineers focused on the future of our installed application.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain platform infrastructure and native applications used by over 100,000 financial professionals.
  • Lead a team of engineers in designing and implementing scalable, high-availability services in a production environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and improve overall system performance.
  • Advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team and promote a culture of innovation and excellence.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong background in C++ or other natively installed languages.
  • Proven experience in writing highly available, scalable services in a production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Rust, and other functional programming languages.
  • Experience with Windows programming frameworks.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
