Teaching History at The Hastings Academy

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate History Teacher to join our team at The Hastings Academy. As a History Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and inspiring them to develop a love for History.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and interactive History lessons to students from KS3 to KS4
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their understanding of History
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement the History curriculum
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Specialist knowledge of History and its relevance to modern society
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in History education
