Job OverviewCategory Lead - HR/Indirect/MSP & VMS
Location: Remote
Compensation: Up to €71 per hour - 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a variety of complex projects and initiatives that significantly influence the organization's performance.
  • Oversee regional or global contracts with a spend scope reaching up to €10 million.
  • Responsible for a comprehensive category scope, including the management of subcategories.
  • Negotiate optimal pricing and terms for products and services required by the organization.
  • Independently source necessary products and services.
  • Facilitate the selection of the most suitable suppliers.
  • Lead and oversee supplier performance management in collaboration with internal business partners.
  • Assist the Senior Procurement Manager in strategic sourcing efforts.
  • Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and sustainability standards.
  • Conduct spend data analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Generate and evaluate KPIs and internal reports to enhance visibility and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with established standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Procurement Manager to enhance the management of Finance and Accounting Operations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for vendor and procurement issues raised by business stakeholders.
  • Lead commercial processes and participate in business project teams.
  • Engage with suppliers at a regional executive level.
  • Manage non-standard contracts across various operational and commercial models.
  • Exercise discretion in deviation from standards with appropriate legal and risk approvals.
  • Establish and promote procurement best practices among peers.
  • Ensure that daily procurement activities are efficient and compliant.
  • Act as a backup for the Procurement Manager when necessary.
Required Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge in a specific professional discipline or advanced understanding of technical/operational practices.

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

  • Experience in a dynamic, agile, results-driven, and multinational environment.
  • Proficient in SAP and advanced Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Experience in tendering and contracting, preferably in services or the P2P process.
  • Familiarity with legal, risk management, and data privacy issues.
