Job Opportunity

Maverick Associates is seeking a highly skilled Principal Hardware Design Engineer to join our development team in Oxford. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing industry-leading hardware products.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop high-speed digital hardware products, including motion capture and video cameras, calibration devices, and synchronization and networking equipment.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high-performing and cost-effective solutions.
  3. Ensure designs meet regulatory compliance and have appropriate test coverage for development and manufacture.
  4. Mentor junior hardware design engineers and contribute to the growth and development of the team.

Requirements

  1. Proven expertise in VHDL/Verilog for FPGAs, high-speed digital design, and analogue design.
  2. Experience in developing products for manufacture with a focus on DFM/DFT.
  3. Strong understanding of image sensors, optics, Ethernet, and RF Design.
  4. Education to degree level in Electronic Engineering or equivalent, with at least 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
