About the Role

The Quarry Operative vacancy is an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturing business as a key member of their operations team. Based in a strategic location, this role requires applicants to have their own reliable transportation to reach the site.

The primary purpose of this role is to operate quarry processing machinery within a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment. As a Quarry Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment, adhering to strict health and safety protocols.

Main Responsibilities

• The safe operation of fixed quarry plant machinery.
• Fork Lift truck counterbalance operation, with training provided.
• Training available to undertake additional mobile plant licenses, such as loading shovels, with opportunities to progress to a supervisor level.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• A full UK driving license and reliable transportation.
• Previous experience working within a quarry or heavy industrial environment, with a preference for those with Fork Lift Truck experience.
• An awareness of health and safety protocols in the workplace.
