Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Laboratory Manager and Senior Research Technician to provide technical support and laboratory management to academic staff, research staff, and postgraduate research students in the Division of Oral Biology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide laboratory management and senior technical support for multiple active research labs across a range of facilities.
- Develop and implement laboratory protocols and procedures to ensure efficient and effective research operations.
- Collaborate with academic staff and research staff to design and conduct research projects.
- Manage and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies.
- Develop and implement quality control and quality assurance procedures to ensure high-quality research outcomes.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as microbiology, biochemistry, or biomaterials.
- At least 2 years of experience in a laboratory management or senior research technician role.
- Excellent analytical, organisational, and time-management skills.
- Experience in tissue culture, biochemistry, or biomaterials is highly desirable.
