We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Behaviour Support Mentor to join our team at Vision for Education - Sheffield. As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs, including SEMH, PRU, and special educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with complex needs, including SEMH, PRU, and special educational needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
- Use evidence-based strategies to promote positive behaviour and improve academic outcomes.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students, helping them to develop self-awareness and self-regulation skills.
- Collaborate with parents and carers to develop and implement strategies to support students at home.
Requirements:
- At least 6 months of experience working with students with complex needs, including SEMH, PRU, and special educational needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Knowledge of evidence-based strategies for promoting positive behaviour and improving academic outcomes.
- Ability to provide emotional support and guidance to students.
