Yard Maintenance Specialist

As a Yard Person at JMS, you will be responsible for assisting with the repair, service, and maintenance of plant machinery and equipment. This includes overseeing plant and machines to anticipate, detect, and address factors that impede operations on site.
You will also be responsible for loading equipment into trucks, coordinating with the JMS operations team for resource planning, and ensuring machines are working and maintained in a timely manner. Additionally, you will enforce safety regulations and protocols at all times.
Additional DutiesYou will be expected to complete general yard/workshop duties, including general housekeeping and stock allocation for machine parts, new/old materials, and consumables.
Requirements- A full UK driving license is required.
- HGV Class 2 License would be advantageous.
- A flexible and hard working approach.
- An enthusiastic nature to problem solving.
- The ability to work to deadlines.
- Strong organisational skills.
- The ability to work well as part of a team.
- Competitive starting salary.
- Working hours are Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:30.
- Overtime is available.
- 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.
