About the Role

As a Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You will work closely with our manufacturing and engineering teams to identify and resolve issues, and develop new processes and procedures to improve our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and fault find on non-conforming products or equipment
  • Author technical documentation and specifications
  • Draft and publish drawing packs
  • Analyse test and production related data
  • Introduce new innovative products and equipment into manufacturing
  • Develop and implement process improvements
  • Collaborate with other areas of the business
Programme Structure

You will study towards a BEng (Hons) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Bolton University, which will be fully funded by MBDA UK Ltd over four years. During your apprenticeship, you will spend three months in a different area of the business and nine months in Manufacturing Test Engineering, split between Operations and Engineering.

What We're Looking For
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths, English Language, and Science/Technology at a Grade 9-4
  • 120 UCAS points achieved through a T-Level in an Engineering subject or a BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma with a Distinction in Further Maths

We are looking for someone who is curious, enthusiastic, and willing to learn. You should be able to work well in a team and have a passion for engineering and problem-solving.
