Service Overview
Operating from three strategically located sites, our service provides street cleansing and grounds maintenance throughout the year, ensuring that our community is well-maintained and inviting.

Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our team, you will:

  • Operate mechanical road sweepers across the city.
  • Perform street cleaning, including litter collection and bin emptying.
  • Engage in litter-picking in parks and public areas.
  • Handle the removal of deceased animals and other waste.
  • Maintain highway verges, parks, and open spaces.
  • Drive vehicles and utilize power tools such as strimmers and hedge cutters.

Who We Seek
We are looking for individuals who are:

  • Enthusiastic and motivated, with experience working outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Possessing strong communication skills for effective interaction with the public and team members.
  • Capable of leading a team and working independently.
  • Able to provide informal training to colleagues.
  • Proficient in using handheld devices for recording information.
  • Physically fit to perform demanding tasks, including lifting and prolonged standing.
  • In possession of a CPC license and a full clean driving license for vehicles up to 7.5 tonnes.
