Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Treatment Engineer to join our team at SMS Environmental. As a Water Treatment Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest safety of people within UK communities we serve.

About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading independent provider of water hygiene services across the UK. Your exciting new role will involve pre-planned maintenance of water hygiene works for our clients across Gloucestershire, with some flexibility to travel to Bristol and Cardiff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Temperature checking and monitoring
  • Water flushing and cleaning
  • Cleaning and disinfecting showers and water tanks
  • Checking and maintaining water systems
  • Delivering TMV checks and maintenance
  • Completing all work on in-house software using an iPad
Requirements:
  • Previous water hygiene or water treatment experience within a legionella-focused role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior experience working across various customer sectors, delivering high-quality work
  • Previous experience using iPad technology
