Site Manager - Housing

Gordon Leak Associates Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the safe delivery of a project involving installation of energy efficiency measures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide Health and Safety leadership to the site delivery team, ensuring all works are carried out safely and do not pose risks to installers, occupants, and the general public.
  • Liaise closely with the Operational Support Team to ensure works are carried out in accordance with agreed specifications and comply with quality and compliance standards.
  • Maintain communication with occupants and homeowners to keep them informed of progress and address any matters arising during installation.
  • Ensure suppliers, sub-contractors, and direct workforce follow company policies and procedures, including Health & Safety, Quality Assurance, and Installation standards.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and daily activity briefings with sub-contractors and direct workforce when necessary.
  • Coordinate with the Operational Support team to order general materials required to complete the project.
  • Lead the site team to successfully deliver the company's management expectations across all key areas of the project.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • SMSTS, CSCS Card, First Aid (preferred)
  • Competent user of IT software packages including MS Office or similar tablet-based quality assurance software (preferred)
  • High level of organizational ability along with time management skills to drive and meet deadlines (essential)
  • Commitment to providing a high-quality service demonstrating reliability, conscientiousness, and flexibility (essential)
