About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Customer Sales Representative to join our team at Worcestershire Parkway station. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and selling our range of tickets and services to our customers.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level customer service and be proactive in meeting customer needs
  • Sell our range of products and services in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner
  • Maximise sales opportunities by adopting selling techniques and offering enhanced products to customers
  • Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of ticket machines and IT equipment
  • Accurately complete all accountancy and other associated documentation
  • Maintain ticket machines at the station
  • Provide customer assistance when required

About the Location

Worcestershire Parkway is a modern Great Western Railway station that opened in 2020, connecting journeys between the North Cotswolds and Cardiff to Gloucester to Birmingham lines.

Working Pattern

This role requires shift working, including weekends and bank holidays. The earliest shift start is 0450, and the latest shift finish is 2020. You must be able to get to and from the station without relying on public transport.

Additional Information

This role involves assisting customers with luggage when required and gritting the platforms in preparation for the first train departure during cold winter weather.
