Senior Litigation Attorney

We are seeking an experienced and qualified legal professional to join our team as a Senior Litigation Lawyer. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Homelessness and Civil Litigation law and will be responsible for providing expert legal advice to the council, members, and officers.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert legal advice on Homelessness and Civil Litigation matters to the Council, members, and officers.
- Serve as the primary legal contact for senior officers on Homelessness/Civil Litigation issues.
- Conduct high-quality advocacy, including complex hearings, in various courts and tribunals.
- Actively support the management of the legal department, ensuring effective operations.
- Must hold a current practising certificate as a Barrister, Solicitor, or Legal Executive.
- Confident with a can-do attitude and the ability to lead and support a legal team effectively.
- Strong and proven expertise in handling a wide range of homelessness and civil litigation matters.
- Able to anticipate and proactively address legal challenges with practical and effective solutions.
